Queensland is fast becoming a hub for blockchain in Australia with companies including NEM and Mo Works set to host a blockchain summit this weekend in Brisbane.
The BLOCKConscious Summit will host some of the most influential names in blockchain, such as John McAfee and Roger Ver and showcase some of the nation’s upcoming projects.
The state has taken a positive stance towards the technology with a host of local businesses accepting cryptocurrencies and a local crypto startup winning a tourism grant.
Organised by Crypto Masterminds, the event also provides an avenue for coaching, interacting and exchange of best practices in the field among and between delegates.
The three day conference will be held in Fortitude Valley from August 10 to 12.
