NEM opens hub for blockchain startups

Capitalising on Queensland’s positive stance towards Blockchain technology, NEM Technologies will launch its Blockchain centre in Brisbane tonight - its first in Australia.

Located at The Precinct in Fortitude Valley, NEM Founder Jason Lee says the centre will serve as an education and knowledge hub and will help foster innovation and adoption of blockchain technology.

“We are looking to work with anyone who is interested in learning about blockchain,” Mr Lee said.

“We also want to work with industry bodies and government as well to advocate, not for tight regulations, but for the right regulations for the blockchain and cryptocurrency ecosystem.”
