The US Chamber of Commerce Foundation (USCCF) has partnered with global IT company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) with a view to accelerating technological innovation in the United States.
The collaboration will drive the Digital Empowers campaign to explore how leaders can implement technology to solve social issues such as mental health and disaster relief.
The campaign aims to increase awareness around digital technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things.
US Chamber Foundation senior vice president Marc DeCourcey said the partnership would help industry leaders to realise the full potential of technology for social good.
“The Chamber Foundation is excited to embark on this partnership with TCS and help organisations across the country leverage their expertise and technology to make a powerful impact in their community,” said DeCourcey.
It will be implemented over a series of six regional forums, with original research conducted by USCCF, two national summits, and an innovation awards program.
The first regional forum will be hosted in Atlanta, GA, on December 4, 2018.
